They are suitable for non-armored cables certified for enclosures with the following protection modes: Ex e Increased safety, Ex nR Restricted breathing, and D Dust environment. They are also weatherproof IP68 or Ex I for non-armored cables making them ideal for intrinsic safety Ex i applications. The Ex e cable glands are ideal for onshore and offshore use and for other hazardous areas exposed to gases and dust.
