Appleton™ fused, factory sealed PlexPower™ Series panelboards use individual breaker and fuse housings that provide explosionproof protection for standard off-the-shelf fuses and switches eliminating the need for a heavy cast enclosure. Component level protection means the panelboard enclosure is lighter, more compact and easier to install. Breakers and fuses can be easily replaced, upgraded or added in the field with no bolted cover to remove, no need for sealing or rewiring and no danger of compromising flamepath integrity. There's never been a simpler, more versatile way to protect lighting, heat trace, power circuits and UPS applications in wet, weather exposed, corrosive or hazardous locations.
Features
  • Provides indoor and outdoor protection and control of electrical circuits such as lighting, heat trace, power circuits and UPS applications. They are ideal for placement in wet, corrosive environments or where flammable gases or vapors are likely to be present.

  • No external conduit or cable seals required thus making installations faster, easier, and less costly in hazardous environments such as petroleum plants, chemical plants, refineries, wastewater treatment plants, paper and pulp industries and other process facilities.

  • Limitless flexibility through horizontal and vertical coupling options. Gland plate at the bottom of enclosure can be easily field punched for cable or conduit entries. Additional gland plates available for sides and top must be ordered with the panelboard. See catalog pages for details.

  • Features a ground-breaking design that uses individual fuse housings to minimize the downtime and costs associated with servicing fuses in hazardous locations. Accommodates off-the-shelf fuses and switches making replacements readily available.

  • Supplied with standard hard drawn, tin plated, copper bus bar for superior corrosion resistance.

  • Gland plate can be easily field punched for cable or conduit entries. Standard model includes plate on the same side as the main connection. Additional gland plates must be ordered with the panelboard. See catalog pages for details.

  • RFF model up to 600 Vac panel.

  • Standard fused models offer up to 18 circuit panelboard configurations.

  • Fused models are available standard with or without main breaker, depending on the configuration; up to 30 Amps per branch circuit. Main circuit breaker up to 150 Amps.

  • Standard configuration includes internal actuators and a solid door; factory installed options include external actuators. Supplied with dead front for internal and external actuation.

  • Breakers and switches can be padlocked in either the "On" or "Off" position.

  • Ground and/or neutral bars and external/internal ground lug provided as standard.
