Brand: AppletonU-Line™ N1 and N2 Series 20 Amp Plugs and Receptacles feature a nonmetallic Intraground™ enclosure that provides explosionproof protection while withstanding the most extreme corrosive environments. The silicone gasket prevents entrance of moisture without interfering with the venting of cooled hazardous gases and vapors. An embedded aluminum grounding grid provides a complete grounding system with no need for field work and no extra grounding wires or parts.
Features- Nonmetallic construction with metal imbedded grounding grid eliminates need for extra grounding components
- Silicone gasket, specially designed for the labyrinth-path joint, prevents entrance of moisture without interfering with the venting of cooled hazardous gases and vapors
- Special grounding wire provides safe grounding when cover is removed
- Feed-thru or dead-end grounded 1/2" or 3/4" conduit openings for threaded conduit via provided 3/4" to 1/2" reducer
- Enclosure walls are 5/16" thick
- Superior flammability resistance
- Excellent resistance to ultraviolet light, water, fungi, and mold
- Explosionproof when sealing fittings (sold separately) are installed at each conduit entrance of the N1 enclosure
