SIHA® gelatines are high-purity food gelatines for beverage fining. They have a high positive charge that reacts intensely with negatively charged beverage colloids, e.g. tannins and pectin residues and precipitates together with them.

  • Gelatin Fine Granules fining agent is a highly pure edible gelatin for fining beverages. It is particularly suitable for the treatment of grape mashes, wines and fruit juices. It has a high positive charge that reacts intensively with negatively charged colloids in beverages, e.g. tannins and residual pectins, and is precipitated together with these. Flotation Gelatin:
  • Flotation Gelatin fining agent is a high-purity food gelatin for beverage fining. It is particularly suitable for flotation of grape most as well as fruit juice. It has a high positive charge that reacts intensively with negatively charged colloids in beverages, e.g. tannins and residual pectins, and is precipitated together with these. SIHA GESIL:
  • SIHA GESIL fining agent is a further-developed, casein-free, combination product based on gelatin, modified silicates, and PVPP and is used for the direct treatment of mash and must. It ensures a significant reduction of undesirable phenols and at the same time improved trub sedimentation.
